- Raw mangoes - 1 cup (finely chopped)
- Grated coconut - 1 cup
- Dry red chili/Green Chili - 2 or 3
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Asafoetida - a pinch
- Curd (beaten) - 1 cup
- Grind the raw mangoes and grated coconut to a coarse paste.
- Mix salt, asafoetida and beaten curd with it.
- Temper with mustard seed, chilies and curry leaves. Tasty mango kitchadi is ready.
