Spanish Omelette

Ingredients 

Eggs -2
Spanish Onion -1/2 (diced)
Red or yellow  Peppers - 1/4 cup diced
Salt -1/2 tsp
Black Pepper -1/2 tsp
Cheddar Cheese - 2 tblsp
Oil - 2 tblsp


Method
1.Beat the eggs ,salt and pepper together
2.Take a nonstick pan add  the oil.
3.Add onions and color peppers saute for 1 minute.
4.Pour the beaten egg over the onion pepper mixture.
5.Apply little oil on sides.
6.Now sprinkle the cheese over the omelette.
7.Wait until its cooked and flip the omelette to cook the other side.
8.Serve the spanish omlette with toasted bread.

 

Tips
1.You also add cubed potato along with onions while sauting.
2.Flip when its completely cooked on one side by checking its golden brown on the bottom.

           Hi Caitlynn, Omelettes are very much part of Indian Cuisine too.  Indian omelettes have onions and black pepper but no cheese. This is a variation that many of my website friends will be interested in trying. I've added it under the 'International Recipes' section to differentiate it from the authentic Indian Recipes.

            I'd love to try this sometime, i am not a very good cook but this seems easy enough.
