What is Ballar,( a type of bean) found in Chennai called in English. Is it available in the USA?

Mochai/Machakottai is actually ‘Farm Beans’ in English. Due to the bitterness of the bean, this is farm feed in most places and cannot be bought for home consumption. Lima beans/Butter beans don’t have the same bitterness that mochakkai does.

I am in the look out of complete data on calorific value, protein content, carbo hydrate etc in relation to quantity in a way SOYA BEANS has been detailed by American authors. Based on such data people started incorporate in to food item. In animal and husbendary line one of report high lighted that 1 kg soya beans in equal to 10 kg mutton in terms of protein content and such data became base for including it with poultry and other feeds
