I am in the look out of complete data on calorific value, protein content, carbo hydrate etc in relation to quantity in a way SOYA BEANS has been detailed by American authors. Based on such data people started incorporate in to food item. In animal and husbendary line one of report high lighted that 1 kg soya beans in equal to 10 kg mutton in terms of protein content and such data became base for including it with poultry and other feeds

What are 'moth beans' called in tamil? Its a tiny brown bean...and one of the many staples in Tamil Nadu and mostly grows in the arid regions of India..

When I was a kid I used to eat a pulse named "Malai thuvarai" something like that... but don't know the exact name... It looks exactly like horse gram but tastes great... If U got it pls let me know its english name...
