Paneer is easily available in super markets. Most people prefer to buy these and make delicious dishes. However making it at home is equally easy. I have shared the recipe below. Once you have paneer on hand, you can make hell a lot of yummy dishes with it like Paneer Tikka masala, Paneer Butter masala, Paneer Payasam, Paneer Briyani , Panner dosa and the list goes on and on.
Paneer can be added to curries as fresh cubes but most commonly it is lightly fried before adding. While frying paneer, do it on low heat until it turns lightly brown. It retains its softness. Never over heat the paneer cubes as it becomes too hard. While frying in oil, flip the sides of the paneer cubes with a fork or spoon. The roasted paneer could be used to all the dishes.
So next time you have plenty of milk at home, make paneer at home. All paneer dishes are quite exoctic and made during all special occasions. Paneer is a good supplement for non-vegetarian dishes. Try out these dishes at home and feel royal.
