(Paruppu Vadai, Dal Vada, Fried Lentil Dumplings)
1/4 cup Tuvar dal
1/4 cup Chana dal
2 Red chilli
1 Green chilli
1 tsp Saunf (Fennel seeds)
Oil for frying
1. Wash and soak the dals in water for 2-3 hours.
2. Drain the water and grind to a coarse paste along with red, green chillies and saunf.
3. Add salt, chopped curry leaves, asafoetida and mix well.
4. Take lemon sized ball and flatten in your hand and deep fry them.
