Here I am presenting a simple and delightful curry that is beneficial for pregnant ladies. That is yellow pepper chutney.

Recipe for Yellow Capsicum Chutney

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 3

Ingredients

  • Yellow pepper (yellow capsicum) - 1 (about 125 gms)
  • Sesame seeds - 30 gms (1.5 tbsp)
  • Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup (chopped)
  • Tamarind paste - 1/2 tsp (or a small piece)
  • Green chilies - 2 or 3
  • Cashew nuts - 3
  • Soaked almonds - 4
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp

Yellow Pepper Chutney Ingredients

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the sesame seeds and green chilies with yellow capsicum for about 5 minutes. Switch off.

  2. Add cashew nuts and almonds to this. Finally add tamarind paste and salt.
  3. Grind all these ingredients make into fine paste.

  4. Before serving add chopped coriander leaves.
