Jhatpat chutney is an instant chutney which can be made in less than 3 minutes. This quick chutney goes well with idlis, dosa, uttappa, chappatti etc...
Recipe For Jatpat Chutney
Ingredients
- Onion (medium sized) - 3
- Corriander Leaves - handful (chopped)
- Roasted Peanuts - handful
- Mint Leaves - 1 spring
- Curry Leaves - 1 spring
- Roasted Sesame seeds (white) - 1 tsp (optional)
- Whole Red Chillies - 2
- Tamarind - a piece
- Ginger - a small piece
- Carrot - a small piece
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar/ Jaggery - 1/2 tsp (optional)
Method
- Mix all the ingredients and grind to a smooth paste by adding little water. You can use it in a semi sold form, watery for idli, dosa, uttappa, chapatti etc.
