Horsegram Thuvayal

(Kollu Tuvayal, Kulith Chutney)

Roasted horsegram - 1 cup
Red chilli - 2 nos
Grated Coconut - ½ 
Few curry leaves
1. Pick the horsegram as you will find small stones in it. Roast it in a a kadai till u get a nice aroma in it.
2. Roast the red chillies too.  Roast few curry leaves.  
3. Mix all the ingredients in a mixer and grind to a smooth paste by adding water.  
This can be had with dal rice, curd rice etc.

I made the kulith chutney a little differently and it was delicious too.I took 2 cups of kulith and dry roasted it ,till it gave off an aroma,then dry roasted a few red chillies,curry leaves,8-10 pods of garlic and grond to coarse paste all the ingredients with one big onion..salt and tamarind was delicious and keeps well for longer as no coconut.thank you
