(Oats Porridge, Oats Congee)

Oats soup is one of the most easiest way of getting oats into your daily diet. It is simple to make with very few ingredients and can be served as a healthy meal with a slice of bread or as a satisfying appetizer. This soup is suited for people of all ages, for people on diet and for ailing patients.

Oats is usually made as a porridge and served. It is either sweetened with some fresh fruits, dried fruits, honey, brown sugar etc. This is a spicy salted version of Oats Porridge. Minimal spices and veggies are added that just gives that extra punch without overpowering.

Hi Niraja, Thanks for trying. The soup is quite thick. If you want it thinner, add some additional water.

usually, when we touch the oats, its use is limited and a recipe based on oats is also complicated. now, you gave a good recipe, thanks a lot.
