Maa Inji Pachadi

(Mangga Inchi Pachadi,  Maanga Inghi Pachadi, Mango Ginger Curry, Curcuma Amada Curry, Maanga Inchi chutney)


  • Maa Inji (Mango Ginger) - 1 big piece
  • Green Chili - 1
  • Grated Coconut - 2-3 tbsp
  • Curd - 3-4 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste

Mango Ginger Pachad

For tempering

  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Dry red chili - 1/2
  • Curry Leaves - 5
  • Asafoetida - a pinch
  • Fenugreek seeds - 5-6


  1. Wash and scrape the maa inchi to remove the skin. Chop it finely.
  2. Add all the ingredients and grind to a smooth paste. If needed, add little water.
  3. Temper with the ingredients mentioned above. Maa Inji Phachadi is ready.

Serving Suggestion

  • Maanga Inji Pachadi can be served as a side dish for Rice, Idli or Dosa.
