Pacha Manga Kichadi

  • Raw mangoes - 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Grated coconut - 1 cup
  • Dry red chili/Green Chili - 2 or 3
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Asafoetida - a pinch
  • Curd (beaten) - 1 cup


  1. Grind the raw mangoes and grated coconut to a coarse paste. 
  2. Mix salt, asafoetida and beaten curd with it.
  3. Temper with mustard seed, chilies and curry leaves. Tasty mango kitchadi is ready.
