Papaya is a fruit rich in Vitamin A and C. It is commonly available all over India that many people just neglect it. However its health benefits cannot be ignored. Many people do not like this fruit texture and smell. The best way to get the health benefits of this fruit is by making this fresh papaya juice.
Fresh papaya juice has a bright orange colour that looks attractive and appealing to the eyes. The addition of lemon juice makes its taste better. Honey or sugar can be added depending on the sweetness of the fruit. This juice is perfect to be served after school or for breakfast.
Recipe For Fresh Papaya Juice
- Preparation time: 10 minutes
- Cooking time: Nil
- Serves: 4
- Ripe Papaya - 2 cups
- Honey - 1 tbsp (as required)
- Lemon Juice - 2 tsp
- Ice Cubes - 5-6
- Cold water - 1/2 cup
- Take the papaya cubes in a mxie jar or blender.
- Add lemon juice and honey. Both these ingredients are optional and can be increased/ decreased as per taste.
- Add ice cubes and chilled water.
- Blend together till it is a smooth puree. Pour in glasses and serve immediately.
