I have already given few similar chutney recipes like Green Chutney For Chaat, Green Chutney For Dhokla, Raw Mint Chutney, etc... This is another type of green chutney made with fresh mint leaves (pudhina) and fresh coriander leaves (Kothimbir). This Mint Coriander Chutney is good for making quick sandwiches and also goes well with chips or any starters. Let us see the recipe.

Recipe For Mint Coriander Chutney

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time : Nil

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pudhina leaves (Mint)
  • 1.5 cup Kothimbir (Fresh coriander)
  • 1.5  inch ginger
  • 7-8 pods of Garlic peeled
  • 4-5 green chilli
  • 1 medium size lemon juice (acts as preservative also keeps green colour of chatani)
  • Salt and sugar to taste

Method

  1. In a mixie jar grind all together with very little water. Less the water chatani spreads evenly.

Serving Suggestion

  • This chutney is used for preparing sandwich.
  • Goes well  as dip with chips or any starters.
