(Ladies Finger Stirfry)

Jump to recipe ↓

Vendakkai thoran, is a simple side dish made in Kerala that is served with boiled rice and some curry. It is sometimes served as part of the Onam Sadhya.

Commonly ladies finger is stir fried with mild spices. However this thoran preparation is also very tasty. The addition of coconut makes it very delicious. I have added both green chili and red chili powder to prepare this thoran. You can skip the red chili powder if you don’t want it spicy. Do try it out and share your feedback.
