Rice Flour Dosa

Rice Flour Dosa is an instant dosa made with rice flour. This quick dosa can be made when you have rice flour at home but no dosa batter.

Recipe For Rice Flour Dosa


  • Rice flour - 1 to 1.5 cup
  • Egg - 1 to 2
  • Green chillies - 2 to 3
  • Onion - 1/2  cut in small pieces
  • Turmeric Powder - a pinch
  • Chilly powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • GG paste - 1/4 teaspoon

To Grind

  • Cumin seeds (Jeera) - little
  • coconut - 1/4 cup


  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and add enough water.
  2. The batter should not be too thick or too thin. It should be of medium consistency.
  3. Grind the cumin seeds and coconut and mix them with the batter as well. Keep it for 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes, pour them in a dosa pan and make yummy masala dosas.
  5. Suits well with chicken, mutton or fish gravy.

Use a non-stick pan if you are not that expert in making dosa. Plus you should be careful that the tawa should not be very hot nor cold. The oil has to be sprayed properly and evenly

instant Sambar : ingradiants;- instant Sambar powder 100gr., oil -2 spoons, tomotos-2, onion-1/2 green chilies-4, curry leaves, coriander leaves., water -1ltr

put a pan on stove, drop two spoons of oil in the pan, drop curry leaves in the oil, then add one ltr. water , all vegetables and instant sambar powder. keep the liquid on stove for 10 minutes. Then Sambar ready for rice or for idly, dosa and etc.

yet another version;
besan, green chilli, onion chopped, tomato chopped, coriander chopped, salt, ajwain, hing powder and jeera one ortwo teaspoon rice powder.

hi, the way i make
rice flour, red chilli powder or green chilly finely chopped, salt, hing powder, cumin seeds rubbed in the palm and added to it. can add turmeric powder too if u wish.
