Pazham Nurukku (Boiled Sweet Plantains)

Recipe For Pazham Nurukku


  • Fully ripe nentranpazham - 1 no
  • Jaggery - 1 tbsp


  1. Cut the pazham into three pieces.
  2. In a vessel put the pieces and add water above the level of the pieces.
  3. Add jaggery and boil for 15 - 20 minutes
  4. When it is cooked,remove from the water.
  5. Cool, remove the skin and serve.


  • The banana should be fully ripe.
