Recipe For Watermelon Halwa
Preparation time: 45 mts
Cooking time : 35-40 mts
Serves : 2 persons
Watermelon (grated white portion) - 1 cup (squeeze out water)
- Milk - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Ghee - 2 tsp
- Saffron - few strands
- Cardamom powder
Dry fruits and nuts - cashew, almonds, kismiss (raisins), charoli, pista broken into small pieces.
Put ghee in kadai. When it becomes hot, add the water melon and saute for few minutes.
- Add the milk and sugar, saffron and cook in medium flame till the halwa leaves the sides of the kadai.
- Add cardamom powder and mix well.
- Garnish with dry fruits and nuts. serve hot or cold as you like.
