Raw Banana Fry

Recipe For Raw Banana Fry

Ingredients

  • Raw Banana -2 cut in small pieces
  • Asafoetida - a pinch
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp (or to taste)
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - to taste

Method

  1. Heat oil in a kadai. Once heated put the raw banana pieces.
  2. Add the asafoetida, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt.
  3. Fry it until they are done and crispy.

Serving Suggestion

  • Raw banana fry is yummy to eat. Serve with rice and some curry.

Tips

You can use the same recipe to make potato fry, yam (suran/ karunai kilangu) fry, beans fry, ivygourd fry, okra fry, carrot fry etc.

hi mubeen,

thanks for the same. i used to deep fry the pieces like we fry for chips. then after words, temper with mustard seed, urid dal, curry leaves, asafoetida, added the fried pieces, then dosa milkai podi or chilli powder or black pepper, chat masala.

your version is oilfree and thanks once again for the same as both of us (my husband and myself) cannot consume oily, fried items.
